Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective

This policy covers Yuksell subscriptions sold by TrueCod LLC and is part of our Terms of Service.

In short

  • Subscriptions renew automatically every month or every year until you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time in the back office. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and everything keeps working until then.
  • We don’t refund unused time, but we do refund duplicate charges, charges made in error, and charges after a cancellation that should already have taken effect.
  • Questions about a charge: [email protected].

1. Plans and billing periods

Plus and Pro are priced per store and billed every month or every year in US dollars; current prices are on the pricing page. Yearly billing costs ten months’ price, so two months are free. You are billed for the stores that are active in your account. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies (currently Texas). Invoices are available in the back office under Plans & add-ons. Enterprise billing follows your Enterprise agreement.

2. Free plan and free trials

  • New businesses start on the Free plan with a 14-day Pro trial. No card is needed.
  • If the trial ends without payment, the account returns to the Free plan automatically. Nothing is charged, and the cashier and your data keep working.
  • If you subscribe during the trial, the trial ends and your first paid period starts that day.
  • Each add-on (HR, AI Monitoring, Website) has one 14-day free trial per business, with no card needed. To keep using an add-on after its trial, add it to your subscription.

3. Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method on file is charged for the next period, plus any applicable sales tax, until you cancel. You can update your card in the back office at any time.

4. How to cancel

  • The account owner signs in at oms.yuksell.com, opens Plans & add-ons and cancels the subscription or an add-on.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Everything keeps working until then. After that, the account moves to the Free plan and your data is kept.
  • You can undo a scheduled cancellation or downgrade at any time before it takes effect.
  • There are no contracts and no cancellation fees.
  • If you can’t sign in, email [email protected] from the account owner’s email address and we will help.

5. Changing your plan

  • Upgrades (for example Plus to Pro, or adding an add-on) take effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the rest of the current period.
  • Adding stores is charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current period.
  • Downgrades, removing add-ons and removing stores take effect at the end of the current period.
  • Monthly to yearly takes effect immediately: you pay the yearly price, with credit for the unused part of the current month.
  • Yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of the yearly period.
  • If you are over a plan’s limits after a downgrade, your existing stores, staff accounts and dishes are kept and keep working; you can’t add more until you upgrade.

6. Refunds

  • We do not give refunds for the unused part of a billing period, monthly or yearly, including when you cancel or downgrade.
  • We do refund:
    • duplicate charges;
    • charges made in error;
    • charges made after a cancellation that should already have taken effect.
  • To ask for a refund, email [email protected], normally within 30 days of the charge, with your business name, the account email, and the date and amount of the charge.
  • Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. They typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
  • Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal or other charge fails, we notify you and retry the payment. Counting from the first failed attempt:

  • Day 0: a notice in the back office and by email. Everything keeps working.
  • Day 8: the paid features of your plan and add-ons, such as their reports and settings, become view-only.
  • From day 14: the back office and the iPad show a countdown.
  • About day 21: the account moves to the Free plan.

Throughout, taking orders, the kitchen display, QR ordering, delivery orders, the cashier, card payments, tips and clock-in keep working. Your data is kept. Paying the outstanding amount, for example after updating your card, restores your plan.

8. Price changes

We email the account owner at least 30 days before a new price applies to your next renewal. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the renewal date.

9. Disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at [email protected]; we will work with you to resolve it. If a chargeback is filed with your card issuer, we may pause paid features while it is open. Free plan features and your data are not affected.

10. Payment processing

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers.

11. Your guests’ card payments

This policy covers only your Yuksell subscription. If you take card payments from your guests in Yuksell, those payments go to your restaurant’s own Stripe account. Your restaurant is responsible for refunds to its guests (started from the original order in Yuksell) and for responding to its guests’ disputes in its Stripe account. Guests should contact the restaurant about their purchases.
